    My bud had a "tracker" 'bout the same size....we wore that thing out!
    You'll like that "mariner" engine. I had a forty on my salt water skiff for years and never had a problem with it. Ran like a scalded dog.

    Nice! My father-in-law has an Alumacraft jon boat from about 1972 or so. Had a couple of repairs, but still not a drop of water in it.

    I lowered the motor for the pics and was getting ready to unhook it. That's where it stays until I figure a better place for it. It takes on a little water so I filled it up with H2O today and found 6 rivets leaking. I'll tighten them up next week before our fishing, shooting, BS, and chili cook-off next weekend. Not a bad boat for $2500. I'm still grinning ear to ear. Just got a call and sold my old 14' Jon. Gonna go look at guns tomorrow. Life is good.
