Who watched the end of Indy Season?

    Was flipping through the channels and caught the last 25 laps. Was a heck of a finish with the race and Championship both on the line. That series is really starting to get interesting again and they have a lot of good talent there. Heard that Franchitti and a couple of others might head to Nascar though which would be a big loss for the Indy Series.

    They were talking about that during the race. I don't know why you'd go to NASCRAP. The pay is probaly better, but I'm not so sure. Danica did decent. She's five years in and winless. I think she'll probaly stay in that "Good" but not "Good enough" position. Sucks. Did you hear how Marco is doing? He was flow out with a neck injury or complaining it hurt.

    Just read an article that said Andretti was released from the hospital and "ok". Yeah, alot of them are leaving for Nascar because of the bigger market and better pay. I really enjoy Nascar, but as of about 5 years ago my interest has lessoned for it every year. Becoming all about money like everything else it seems.

    NASCAR doesn't have near the "racing" that Indy and F1 have. It's faster and better in my opinion. NASCAR seems more about follow the leader with little actual racing.

    Not going to argue with you there. Don't know if you were familiar with the IROC series, but there is a reason that it fell off the map and I believe that the Nextel Series is beginning to walk this line as well.

    I remember IROC. I also remember the big IRL/CART split. That almost killed the open-wheel circuit. Indy is making a comeback though. It's better to watch then the outdated stuff running in Nascar. Can you even buy a car with a carburetor today?

    Yep, no worries about having to re-jet because of altitude changes, etc. Even atv's are beginning to go the FI route.
