    I think a free subscription ran out about 5 years ago.
    Havn't read it since.

    dongizmo - When I did subscribe to Shotgun News, it wasn't uncommon
    to get my copy after it had already hit the selves at the store.
    Complained to publisher and was told it was the post office's fault.
    Complained to the post office and was told they's look into it. Quit
    subscribing after awhile.

    ...It comes out 3 times a month. A couple weeks ago, I got 3 issues in a 5 day period. Two on the same day is very common. I really think it's the P.O. at fault.

    ...If I mail a letter to a neighbor, three miles away, it goes to our local post office, then to a sorting center 30 miles away, back to our P.O., then gets delivered.

    I too used to get it,one or two at a time whenever the guy at the p.o. got finished reading them,i now get gun digest formerly gun list its the same with them,it is smaller in size and i already have april 20th edition,the size slows them down,because of the class they are shipped in,at least thats what they told me[V]

    Just got the latest issue yesterday.

    I swear that the postal workers read them before sending them on to me. The wifes People magazine is always two or three days late.

    I never thought about that, if you're a mail carrier you get free magazine subscriptions.[;)][:o)]

    I'm still reading an issue I bought last November.

    I noticed WalMart did not have any on the shelves last week. Bought The Economist instead. I'll have to try Krogers.

    ....They've outdone themselves this month. I got the April 1st issue on tue. the 17th, and the issues for the 10th and 20th came today, the 19th. Three issues in 3 days.

    My check was recieved by SN on the 12th of last month and my April 20th issue (the first I've recieved) showed up on the 18th.

    Incidently, I first found out about Gunbroker from reading an ad on Shotgun News.
