TEENS FACE MURDER CHARGES IN HOME INVASION
Two Hendersonville North Carolina teens face murder charges in the killings of an elderly woman and her son.

18-year-old Charles Collins and 18-year-old Justin Graham face two counts of first degree murder in the deaths of 81-year-old Connie Sparks and her 56-year-old son Robert.
East Carolina University police arrested Collins and Graham when they were spotted driving spark's car. Neighbors say the deaths are hard to believe.
"It's just heartwrenching. Nothing to say, flabbergasted, numb, can't find the words," said Chris Freeman, who worked with Robert Sparks.
Collins and Graham have a first appearance Tuesday to face several charges in Pitt County including possession of a stolen vehicle and providing false information to police. Graham faces probation violation charges and financial ID fraud charges.
They had a more detailed report on this story on the local radio. The guys broke in and murdered the elderly mother and son in order to steal the woman's brand new Cadillac.
My first thought was, "Why didn't that 56 year old man have a gun to protect his mother?"
The radio report said the son was mentally retarded, and had the IQ of a seven year old. Robert Sparks had a job at a Goodwill center, and was fascinated with football, and attended every game of the local high school team, he was an unofficial mascot of the team.
The two murderers drove four hours to Raleigh. They filled up the tank at a Corner Pantry, and drove off without paying. The clerk got the tag number, the cops ran the tag and learned that the Cadillac had been stolen from a murder scene. In a few minutes the two Rocket Scientists were in handcuffs.
Their payoff for a double murder was a five hour ride in a Cadillac, and one free tank of gas.

But these are good kids. They're just confused. I mean, there's the Iraq War, 9/11, the high price of oil, and global warming. Teachers can't simply hand out Ritalin like candy, Republicans controlled Congress for a decade, Al Bore had the election stolen, John Kerry was swiftboated, and we don't have universal health care.
On top of that, undocumented workers are being unfairly singled out by a racist nation, and these poor children, THEY ARE CHILDREN DAMMIT, still feel the sting from 300 years of racism in this nation. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson tell them so each and every day.
These are good kids. Just ask their mothers.0 -
The question of guilt seems pretty clear. After justice has put it's stamp of approval on it, prehaps they can be then killed. I doubt if society will miss them much. 0 -
Notice how they are described as "teens". Now the anti-gunners will say a couple of poor teenagers got ahold of a gun and accidentally shot some other victim.
They are adults and should be treated as such.0 -
that's a picture of 2 more reasons against gun control. "18-year-old Charles Collins and 18-year-old Justin Graham". 0 -
No matter what race they are they need to die and sooner the better.[:(][xx(][V][:(!] 0 -

It seems kinda obvious to me that they didn't fear being caught because they had no fear of the consequences. They probably knew that the punishment wouldn't be much because of their color and age and that old Al and Jessie, or the like, would be right there to protect them.

And, in no way can it be called a "Hate Crime", right??? 0 -

I've noticed that, too, Spaniel. It seems every time a kid gets in trouble, he was either "a good kid" or in the process of "turning his life around." THere was a 4-day series on a kid a few years back, who was a good kid, they said. All he did this time was steal his grandma's car, and drive it drunk into a family of 4, killing a couple of them.0 -
