Your Dad appears to be a formidable man.

    Good camp.

elkoholic - do you like that George Dickle whiskey? The reason that I ask is that I have seen billboards for the distillery while driving up to Sportsmans Warehouse in Chattanooga. I was wondering if it would be worth my time to do a tour and pick up some "souveniers".

For a Tennessee whiskey it's not bad. Dickle and Old Grandad are the traditional drinks of choice in camp.

I, too, wish my dad were still around for some more hunting adventures. He died when I was 17 and that was 46 years ago ... I did not hunt for a quite a while after he died - it was just too hard - but now, I'm back into it big time. (OK, small time!)

    As always, nice pics.

The picture of your Dad was touching. My Dad was and still is an anti-gunner and somewhat of an environmental wacko. I never got to experience the shooting sports with my Dad.

But, I'm making up for it with my 3 kids.
