BREAD RECALL...27 BRANDS...

Just on the news...All Sara Lee Breads, including Publix and others...

Due to possible metal contamination.....IF you have it and it has Best before July 26...and code 222 take it back...

    Sara Lee Issues Bread Recall

    Sara Lee has recalled its whole wheat bread packaged under several brand names, including EarthGrains, Great Value, Publix and Sara Lee, because it may contain small pieces of metal that could prove harmful.

    The bread was distributed in west Georgia, the Florida Panhandle, Alabama, Mississippi, parts of Tennessee, Louisiana, Arkansas and Missouri, according to a company-provided release on the Food and Drug Administration web site.

    The breads are stamped with "best before" dates between July 25 and Aug. 7 and include the code "222." All of the affected breads were produced at the company's Meridian, Miss. plant.

    Products can be returned to the stores where they were purchased for a full refund. The company's customer service line is 1-800-683-3466.

    To be that wide spread of an area, it must have been in the dry ingredients. Most likely a wheat grinder malfunction.
