Colt Gold Cup

What is the difference in the trophy and the national match? Thinking about getting a gold cup but not sure what to look for in them.

  I just saw where some one sold one for $1500.00, I didn't know they were selling for that much, any one know why??

  ...Depends on the model. SS and Hard Chrome are higher priced than the blue. If you buy all original in 98%+, you pay for it but, $1,200 will buy a very nice GC if you keep an eye out.
  
  ...Some of the Colt sellers are out of their minds too. A new GC is about $1,000. I prefer the older ones, Series 70. I don't paticularly care for the new GC...buy now as they only go up...it's been a couple of weeks since Ive bought one, time to start looking...[;)]
