I bought a V.H.S. movie at a yard sale and it turned out to be great. "The Last Castle," Robert Redford is a Maj. Gen. who is sent to a military prison. I won't spoil it for you.

RD may be corny, but its from like the 80's what can you expect, its still a great movie

R.D. is one of the last movies where acting was not a requirement to make a movie. The 70's was the hay-day of this era.

Never saw "Red Dawn". Isn't that the one about a Russian invasion and the high school students defending something or other?

    Braveheart!!

Stephen: Stephen is my name. I'm the most wanted man on my island. Except I'm not on my island, of course. More's the pity.
Hamish: Your island? You mean Ireland.
    Stephen: Yeah. It's MINE.
    Hamish: You're a madman.
Stephen: [Laughs] I've come to the right place then.

Hamish: What in the hell are the Irish doing fighting with the English?
Stephen: I wouldn't worry about them. Like I said, it's my island.
    William Wallace: Your island?
    Stephen: MY ISLAND. Yup.

Stephen: [to William Wallace] God tells me he can get me out of this mess, but he's pretty sure your fu**ed.

Hamish, on Wallace provoking a battle: Well, we didn't get dressed up fer nuthin.

Wanna make this thread an ongoing game?
First person to answer the either/or posts a new one.
Kinda like Jacob2008 did, except he didn't answer the first question.
    Here we go:

    Saving Private Ryan.

Forest Gump or Road to Perdition?

Yep... and while the movie was fairly lame, it is one of those that you just watch anyway.

Red Dawn, because it is what the 2nd Amendment is really all about.

I liked Red Dawn and Braveheart. Have seen them several times. Last of the Mohicans is one I can watch over and over. It would be great to see it on the big screen with surround sound. Of course, Lonesome Dove is my all time favorite.
