Looks very much like a creek by the house here, that we have to cross anytime we go out...or in. Only difference being, you have a bridge...our's is just a low water crossing.[:(]

It appears that you received the kind of torrential downpours we received here in East Texas this past spring! Recently I walked along the little creek that runs across the back border of our property and found that the high water level and swift current had washed away a beaver damn that was on the creek about a mile down from our house.

Hope it recedes to a safe level before you get any more rain!

    OleDuk -

I catch a few rainbows in the spring and crayfish/crawdads year round. But mostly it's a good place to swim in the holes and very pretty to picnic at.

Hope they have a place like this when I finally get out of this hell-hole called OryGun and get myself to San Diego.

Y'alls should come along down there. Go ahead and start - I'll be right along.

Doug. You didn't tell anyone about that movie contract we offered you at the
San Marcos Studios, did you? Remember, it's still in the negotiating stages with
Fox. You'll be good to go in about six months ... probably no sooner than that.
I've also got your friend in the office Rolidex & Rolidex.Com - under 'go
    motion/Red Camera' marketing pitch.

Should be fun ... worst case scenerio is, you'll most likely burn to death here -
rather than floating to the sea on your rooftop, there!
