My first marriage ended that way while I was stationed somewhere else. It almost killed me...for a while. After that....while....I began to feel like my old self again. As others have said you suffer and it passes.

Truthfully, I still have trust issues with my current wife. Leftovers from my ex, I'm sure.

I have been there after 9 years I found out. I told her to hit the road. A friend told me that about 1 year later I would be laughing about it/her. He was right. Its been 11 years now, I still laugh about it....she just caught her new husband cheating. I told her, I know how she feels.
Drop me a line if you need encouragement.

-You need to start thinking instead of being shocked, stunned and feeling sorry for yourself. At least do these things:

--Get your guns and sporting goods out of the house...all of them. If you have a buddy, rent a storage container to be set down on his property and have him pay the rent on it. Same thing with any of your family's keepsakes. For some reason, one of the first things a woman going through divorce does is to sell the guy's guns and other personal belongings.....cheap. Spiteful bit@#es!!

---Hire the very best divorce lawyer around. Screw the cost. Hire him before she does, like tomorrow! Screw the cost. Cheap in the long run. Pay the lawyer out of your joint account(s). Check is okay. Listen to what he says and do what he suggests! It ain't going to be pretty.

---Gather proof of her infidelity. Facts, not speculation. Witnesses if you can find them and they're willing to talk.

---Already noted. Start moving cash to a safe place, like in an ammo can in the ground away from your property or in a locked box at a friend's house. Take it out in small increments so you can claim it was spent during the course of day-to-day living, home or car repairs, etc. Get a bunch out or as much as you can.

---If you own the house, DO NOT move out of the house unless advised to do so by your lawyer. Ask his advice on this first thing.

---Do not get into any shouting matches, pissing contests, etc. or hit her. She will call the cops and you will be arrested. If she hits you, run. Leave the house. Call your attorney for advice. He'll tell you whether you should call the police or not. Don't hit her and don't hit her back. Don't even touch her. Just leave.

I've been though a LOT of s#!+ in my life. I can truthfully say that I have always upgraded after putting the s#!+ behind me. You will to. Be positive, look to the future and move fast.

You should be talking to her. Here we are just a bunch of losers who have been there and done that. My suggestion is talk and work it out. It divorce is the answer, it will be. Don
