Took some Winchester 357 in on trade and wondered what it is called. It has a very bright silver hollow point bullet with about 6 small slits in the end at the hollow point. Seems to have a lot of punch judging by the recoil. The bullets are bright enough to be chrome plated. 0 -
Weekend before last, i tool my .45 out shooting, and when i was putting some corbon, through my gun, it looked like there was some sparks or something shooting out of my gun. Not a lot but a few bright sparks shooting out. What was that?!?

IS 308 AND 7.62X51MM THE SAME
THEY KEEP TELLING ME THEY ARE THE SAME0 -
Right now your best bet is the old (70s vintage) Indian... dirty, but works. My FAL eats it all day long (as well as the "nasty" cavim from the 80s), but it does shoot dirty. Won't be an issue in a bolt gun.
308 has higher pressures than the NATO loading.0 -
7.62x51 same as .308, anything chambered for it will work, semiauto or bolt. 0 -
The belted stuff comes apart pretty easily. 0
