Going to the nuke
Found out today, I got the call to work there. Going up Sat. start at the plant on Mon. morning. Anybody in the area want to get together some evening to meet? Gonna pull the kids out of school for their last 5 wks. Job is gonna last til 5/22. After that, wherever the work takes us. Gonna take a summer working/vacation.
For the next few months this is home.

Made it to the hall in Rock Island, Illinois today at 3:00 p.m., picked up paperwork, made it to the campground and got set up. Went in to Rapids City for supper and hot shower at the camper, ready for bed. Job starts tomorrow. 0 -
All locals I've worked in were good places to work, if you remember that your a guest there. Never over stay your welcome, if work gets slow in that local, you should of left two weeks ago. Working seven tens for more then two years, can make your breath smell like diesel fuel and your heart hard as nails.Take time off to smell the roses.If you make all the money you ever dreamed of, and loose your family, you've lost it all. Your children are only small once in your and their life time, enjoy them to the max.Insects can make you or break you, if you choose to go that route. I have to say this, this is some BEAUTIFUL countryside up here. It looks as though peoples yards are made of carpet!!!
