Accuracy on M1a Socom-16?
Posted this on Ask the Experts and got a few sugggestions, namely "post in General Discussion."
Sounded like good advice, so here it is: for any folks that have tried one out, how is the accuracy on the M1A Socom-16? I know a 16-inch barrel with .308 may not produce the best accuracy, but if it's something atrocious like 25" at 50 yards, I think I'll pass.
Also, just to complicate matters, do the two additional inches on the M1A Scout make any difference in terms of control and accuracy and volume? I was told the Socom model is LOUD.
Any thoughts and experiences would be appreciated. I'm not really in the market for a full-length one, primarily the shorter-barreled versions.

I'd guess 1.5"~2.25", based on my 18" Scout.
It's loudness is more a reassuring thump, with a whole lot more energy.0 -
