Would the safety course for carry permits work for a hunting license?Havent hunted in a while and I am not in the computerized "system"[:(]

In Virginia, if you've ever had a hunting license you can get a new one. If you do have to take the safety course, it ain't that big a deal. Most places have them at night and on weekends so it doesn't interfere with work. Not many hours, and you wouldn't want to be in the woods with anybody who couldn't pass the test. [:D]

I agree its a good place to start especially with young people wanting to learn how to hunt safely.

Even if it does it can not hurt to take the safety course. I would love to retake a hunter safety class. Better yet i might become an instructor.
