USA Today 2/20/07

Has anyone read the front page article in today's USA Today? The article blames the rise in crime to the repeal of the assault weapons ban and how police departments are having to aquire heavier weapons to keep up with the bad guy's.

  My father's department uped there armorment with ar rifles but there has never been an incident with AW. Couple of stand offs but a task force was called in and they put some cs into the house guy came out no shots fired.
