Sounds like you should put your daughter up for bid on the auction side.

Seems Jake and, err...Jake are looking for a date.

I say let em bid for her, if all else fails, just give her to Jake.

    She is a handfull...I don't know that I would get good feedback on that one! She is as smart as a whip....looks like she is 25....and really good at getting out of any chore type job you give her. I think whoever ends up with this young lady when she grows up will be coming to me asking..."just what is going on in that pretty little head of hers?"

    I've got 2 xboxes (1 360, and 1 original), a tv, and two computers. I could keep her busy for a while. Not to mention my small gun collection, my two vehicles and my motorcycle.

    We have a couple cord of wood that still need to get cut, split and stack before winter.

    I know all of you are kidding....this little one of mine has a LONG road ahead before I even let her ride off on a date with anyone....much less trade her off for gadgets. I have said she can go on dates when she is 16...in a group. Its hard to set down rules like that when everyone is letting kids do whatever they want as soon as they want.

    When she is at the store with me.....people all the time are shocked to hear her age. They will ask her to show them guns and I will have to say "thats my 15 yr old she isn't old enough....let me help you with that." Its funny to see their reaction. Usually, they will stare with mouths open and say stuff like...NOOOOO.....reeeeaaalllly?

    I didn't let either of my Girls date until they were 16, and that worked out pretty well.

    Andrea - now 25 - had her first real one-on-one date at 18, and married him - Garry-the-Brit - at 22, after graduating from college.

    Deanna had her first real date at 17, and wrecked that poor guy. I expect her to burn through a lot of guys, unlike her Sister. She is busy trampling hearts as I write this.

    The rule worked well for our family, and if you stick to it, LF, I'm sure it will serve you well.

    Discipline is a discipline sadly lacking between parents and children, today.

    Um, actually on another firearms forum a moderator and member hooked up and eventually did tie the noose knot.
