i went into a pawnshop today, just looking, and wasting time. an old double barrel stevens 311 410 caught my eye i asked to look at it. it had a price tag of $125.00 the gun was only a shooter some body had painted the barrels with black paint. i offered the owner $100.00 tax included and walked out with the gun. i have cleaned the paint off and the gun is no where new looking but is tight and the barrels and wood are in good condition. it does need a trigger guard, but other than that it is in good condition. i have always wanted a 410 double barrel but the ones i've seen through the years even junkers were way over priced. this one according to stevens code was made near 1950 the year i was born. any way it will make a good squirrel gun for the rest of my life.

I would have jumped on it for that price, as long as it was mechanically sound and tight.

Get with e-gunparts.com (Numrich). Most likely there will be a trigger guard there with your name on it. Joe
