Everyone needs a .223 FAL

I'm digging it but the company that makes them kinda scares me. They have changed their name like 4 times.
1st was Joeken.
2nd was Special Weapons.
3rd was Bobcat Weapons.
4th is now Redrock Arms.

look up special weapons, and bobcat weapons, beware, be very aware, you will not find a more hated owner on the net, many lawsuits, and the most negative reviews you will ever see 0 -
i must have lost my links for it, the owners name is todd bailey, there was a big stink over a few lawsuits for selling incomplete guns, and internal parts having stuff like paper clips in the sw5, i saw pictures, and many testimonials, with scans of a few lawsuits
anyway, i wouldn't jump on it yet, look over at "the highroad", and the old board of hk91.com, type in any name above, or look for the user name todd, you will see he is not well liked for his products, and customer service, i do not have any other knowledge than this, but from what i read i would not take a chance
they look good, but so did the sw5, and sw30 -

I know all about them. But this is an interesting idea.0 -
I'm not sure a FAL in .223 has a point... but that's never stopped me from wanting a cool gun before![:p][8D][:D] 0 -
Seems silly to me.
How many people would buy a 223 Garand? Enfield? Both of which seem as silly to me as a 223 FAL.0 -
Looks real cool, but I likes my .308 FAL bunches! No 223 for me.[;)] 0 -
Seems as silly as an AR in .223. They should only be .308.
NOBODY would want a military-looking mouse gun.
Would they ??

Never under estimate the power of the 223
and in a smaller lightweight rifle like the AR it is a perfect marriage of cartridge and rifle.[8D][:D]0 -
Todd Bailey is mostly hated because of his arrogance, however he brings things to market before anyone else does.
Over the years I've owned the several SW3's, an early and late SW-5, SW-53, SP-10 & PSP-10 as well as his G36 clone and UMP clone conversion kits and most recently a Coharie Arms 89 (Coharie Arms owned by his wife Wendy) ... I still own an SW-5, a PSP-10 and CA-89
The only Special Weapons firearm I was ever dis-satisfied with was the SW53 ... based on the 33 but shot a 7.62x39 round, and it had more feeding problems than I would accept. There was an "up-grade" available for a couple hundred extra more, and you had to ship it back ... but I sold it instead and let someone else deal with it.
I've heard a lot of Internet rumors of bad guns, but very few unhappy owners ... as well as a few "smiths" that said his crap kept them in business. I always thought of it as "if it wasn't for Todd's crap, they wouldn't have any business" ... because they sure weren't bringing anything to market.
Anyway, that's my

fal was orinally designed for a smaller round than 7.62 nato
I think DSA produces one in 2230
