Going to get interesting

Going into a bill collection agency here in Columbia tomorrow. These morons have been calling my home for 2 years looking for a woman they are chasing for bill collection. They will get served notice in writing the next time they call they can tell a Judge and I can show the Judge the notice of harrassment. Say a prayer for them they may need it.

    How did they connect the woman to your telephone number?
    Telephone companies aren't supposed to give out numbers relating to addresses only.

    She had this number before we did. This has went on for 2 friggin years. I have told them numerous times she doesn't live here or that Bell South has the information. I am fed up with them. Just awhile ago one of their agents got mouthy with me on a toll free number I answered. Well I did a web search and these morons were in Columbia all this time. Can't wait to serve them notice in the morning. I dare them to call again. I have tapes of them leaving messages on the answerning machine for her, and caller ID numbers from them all recorded. I will not be a nice guy tomorrow telling them at their place of business.

    Funny related story.

    My first wife was named Melissa. She ran up a whole bunch of credit card and student loan dept, most after we divorced. We divorced 10yrs or so ago. Well, like you, I got/get letters and calls from collection agencies ALL the time. I told them she doesn't live here and I haven't seen her since the day we divorced and don't have a clue where she is (I really don't). Well about 5yrs ago I remarried......her name is Melissa too.[:D] Try explaining to them that the Melissa W. they are looking for isn't the Melissa W. I'm married to now.[B)][:D] I tried explaininhg the situation to them but they ain't buying it. I guess I'll just have to live with the letters and calls forever.

    You guys just don't know a good opportunity when you see one.

    Good God! I PRAY for a situation like yours. I would be promissing them everything and the moon. I'd tell them payment is going out right now, payment went out, I'm sending them extra money. I'd tell them to hang on while I go get my checkbook and see how long they hold. You could tape the conversations and put them on UTube! Getting collectors mad used to be my job when I was a credit counselor and I sure do miss those days.
