My brother in law is a big mountain biker. I mean HARD CORE. He went to some huge park in Ill. and did some serious biking. He has some bike, I can't remember what it's called, cost $6000. They were on their way back to the vehicles on some concrete trail, he wasn't paying attention and flipped off and shattered his collarbone and dislocated his shoulder. He now has a rod and 4 pins in his collarbone/shoulder.

If I can procure some pics, I'll post them.

I have dirt bikes, but you just don't get anymore off road than this. It doesn't get any better than this. No worries about being anywhere and if you look I'm tied to a rope with the other end on a boat with a frig full of wine coolers and sandwhiches.

There was a time I raced 4 times a week. Now I just ride for fun and have backyard competitions but in the summer I ride almost every track In Washinton.
Here are a few pics of me in the backyard. I was actually riding yesterday and had a weird crash when I was jumping a routine double into a corner where I had to much spped and the front end washed out. I still rode for another hour after the crash but My body aches right now and my right hip and shoulder is the sorest. I have a few pics of me jumping 15' 20 feet in the air but their are copy righted on a web site and I don't want to pay the money to have them.
I 42 I think more and more about giving it up but I am addicted and have been doing this since I was 8 years old.
This is me on my oldest sons bike.

I love the old Elsinore. Been a few years since I have seen one. Me and a buddy used to have fun on one in the mid 80s.

I have the same pipes on my CJ7. I love the way they sound. Do you have a 304 in that? If so can you tell me what goes on the oil filler cap tube in front of the carb? Does it take a cap or breather? Mine fell off and I do know what goes on it. I would think a breather, because I can't see anywhere else the engine would vent, if it needed to vent. Are those 35's what axles are you using? What gearing? I have 33's on mine. I'll have to take some pictures of mine when I can.

Had a 250 Elsinore my self. The head on totaled it. Last dirt bike I owned. Used to ride competition motocross back in the 60's and early 70's.

Thanks guys. Vintage Motocross is my hobby.
Yep, it's a 75 CR125M. You may notice the pipe's not on it in this pic.
    I also have a 73 CR250M (almost as complete as the 125), a 76 RM370 (some assemblies done), a 77 CR125 and a 74 Husky 250CR (both scattered).

You have the exhaust cut outs also? I love em. Works great when I'm sand dragging. It's just like running an open exhaust.

It's got a 360 punched out .060 and some other go fast stuff. It is a vent breather on the oil tube filler. You can get them at Pep Boys.

The top pick I was running 35" Xterrains, bottom pick is 36" Iroks. I'm still running the Dana 30 front and AMC 20 rear. Amazingly they have survived even though I beat the snot out of it. The rear has 1 piece shafts and a spool. Front is still open. 4.88s. I was running 4.10s but broke the rear carrier and decided to swap out both. Good thing too since my front gears were fixing to go. (Ring gear on the front had some chipped teeth)
