Why shouldn't this be as good as any other day to show off your purchase? You don't plan a rampage on unsuspecting/unarmed/defenseless persons, do you? If only there had been a CCW permit holder in that classroom or nearby on campus, the tragedy might have been diminished somewhat. However, thanks to those who look out for the "safety" of our citizens (see article linked below), that wasn't going to happen.
