American Rifleman
I have some old back issues of AR magazine. By old, I mean 60 years old. My Dad had them in a shed. Needless to say, they smell kind of musty. Anyway, I went through them and culled out some interesting volumes. They cover things like the introduction of the Model 29, Super Blackhawk, Model 700, etc. Question is are they of any collector value in their condition? Like I said, they are pretty musty smelling, but otherwise in good shape.[?][?][?]

Does anybody know the results of their Top 10 Hunting Rifles of all time. I was watching it last night and couldn't stay awake. It should be in there magizine as well but I think I threw mine in the trash. Cant find it online.
This is as far as I got:
10. Mark V Weatherby
9. Mauser 98K
8. Savage 110
7. Some rotory bolt action forgot the name
6. Marlin 336
I want to know the rest of the list if anybody can complete it for me.
Thanks,

Sorry it took so long to go thru them but I hadto work.
So far this is what I got;
march-1968
dec-1969
7 books 1985
12 books 1986
12 books 1987
11 books 1988
11 books 1989
13 books 1990
6 books 1991
thats all the info I could get. Id rather just send them all to one person. But will work with someone on the 60s books.0 -
shipping kills them. value becomes mute since most wont pay for excessive weight shipping. and like always, condition is key. musty moldy is considered circulation grade...poor. 0 -
Check e-bay for value - see what they sell for - use the 'sold' engine if you need to.

The old gun ads (winchester, colt) might bring good money. 0
