Al Qaeda in Iraq leader reported wounded in firefight
Iraqi police have wounded the leader of al Qaeda in Iraq and killed his top aide, a spokesman for the Iraqi Interior Ministry told CNN Thursday. The spokesman said Iraqi police have the body of the aide but he would not comment on if Abu Ayyub al-Masri was captured. The U.S. military has so far made no comment on the report. CNN has not independently confirmed the report.

Although I strongly oppose the Iraq War, I am glad whenever an Al Quada gets whacked. These are the guys who took down the twin towers.
There was a lot of jubilation in the Bush administration when the previous Al Quaeda head in Iraq, Zarquawi, was killed by a U.S. bomb.
He was replaced in a few days by this guy.
This guy has probably already been replaced.0 -

My best friend is working in iraq for blackwater Company. he was on the ground when thier chopper was shot down last month and he said in the four hour fire fight that insued. his 25 man blackwater company exspended some 15,000 rounds and had confirmed some 300+ kills and 4 casualities and 1 wounded and they were in the chopper. in the 4 hours. about 1hr 45 minutes into this, a us army brigade a "freaking brigade".(3000-5000) arrive's exspended some 150,000+ rounds took on 25 casualities some 150 plus wounded in a little over 2 1/2 hrs.0 -
