Today at the Circus...

One of the navs on the plane I launched out today decided to try and function check his parachute while still in the ejection seat, when the seat was still in the aircraft, and while the aircraft was still sitting on the ground. I had to stop them short of the runway so the chute guys and one gal could run up and re rig his parachute.

  It was a training flight, it was the pilots first time as Aircraft Commander. Catching planes short of the runway, we call it red balling, makes good bullets for EPR's, so I get on everyone I can. IFE's(In Flight Emergencies) are also good EPR bullets.
