So who's had E Coli?
I don't know what's wrong with me. I think it's E Coli. It all started over 2 weeks ago when I decided to have a salad instead of fast food and eat healthy. You see I bought a bag of pre-cut salad from the local grocery store. I opened the bag and poured it into the bowl and thought how fresh it was seeing the purple and green leaves. I proceeded to eat 4-5 forkfuls and my brother in law said "dang...I want to eat salad too" after hearing me crunching away at my salad. He opened the bag I placed in the frig and stared at it...then he poked his finger in the bottom of the bag and pulled it out draped with black sludge. The next thing I know I'm running out the house gagging salad and throwing the bowl.
For the following 2 weeks it's been severe abdominal pains and fire water from where solids are supposed to go. I ain't gone to a doctor. I've found dairy products makes it worse and pasta makes it better. It's gone off for short periods.....but then comes back and gits ya.
I ain't eating another frekin salad again unless it's fried.

You need antibiotics. Got a couple days worth of Cipro laying around anywhere? I get the same thing everytime I go to Mexico. It doesnt go away on its own, but the antibiotic cures it quick! 0 -
Funny thing about E. coli. It is absolutely necessary and beneficial in the lower digestive tract, but it sure plays heck if when introduced to the upper end. 0 -
My wife has Augmentin laying around and I've just started taking that.
From the dehydration and loss of nutrients......my back pain is waaaaaay worse.
I've been married for 7 years. Never in that 7 years have I gotten my wife to do what everyman wants. Well guess what she decided what she wanted to do a few nights ago. It was a struggle to stay put....but by God I stayed put for 1 hour. Couldn't let anything go otherwise it would have been a bodily explosion from all orifices.[xx(]

Augmentin...that is amoxicillin. I dont know if it covers E. coli but that would be easy for you to find out. I do know that the #1 side effect of Augmentin is diarrhea due to the clavulantic acid that is also in it. 0
