Just remember that Al Qaeda is just as much a foreign presence in Iraq as we are... they just happen to be less palatable right now.

My only fear is that once the Iraqis have taken care of Al Qaeda (and there's no promise that they will), they will turn their attention back to us.

It makes me wonder if our liberals calling to pull out of Iraq may be having some positive effects within the Iraq by letting them know that we won't be there indefinitely.

I will be interesting to see how Al Queda and the other malitia groups deal with the sudden excitement and support of the Iraq soccer team.

The best thing AQ did was ban smoking. Seriously. Iraqi men love tobacco and when AQ started to impose Sharia law and banned smoking, it really peeved off the Iraqi men.

Maybe they will learn it doesnt take 4 years of training to learn to defend ones own country. If they havent learned by now they never will learn.

Yep. Our liberals being too cowerdess too complete a job might just be our ticket out. I knew they would be good for something besides skylarking and grabassing.
