Attached is a rarely seen perspective: a video of a U.S. Navy SEAL extraction was filmed from inside an MH-47 Chinook helicopter...the pilot has lowered the ramp, dipped the tail end into the water to partially flood the compartment (a maneuver that requires quite precise flying) and awaits the Navy SEALs to board in their F470 Zodiac.
So awesome it gives me chills...just gotta LOVE our military....

i know that the chinook is designed to float, however, the sight of water rushing in still would make me very uneasy. 0 -
Very interesting. I bet the chopper blades look like they're just a few feet off the water from the view in the approaching boat...a good "pucker" moment or two the first time I bet. 0 -
