screwed up a bid

I placed a bid on a gun tonight that I made a mistake and bid 100.00 over what i wanted to bid. I am the winning bid right now, but is there any way that I can lower my max bid. I know that i can't go lower than the highest winning bid right now but i just want to lower my max bid

    I Think you can ask the dude selling it and he can remove that bid, otherwise, not sure!
