    depends on what courses you take (and the quality of the individual school).
    Most of my friends and I were loaded down with a bunch of AP classes, which are basically first year college classes. After high school I went straight into Calculus 3 and Organic Chemistry (skipping freshman chem) in college. I also had credit for physics, but it was "general physics" and I needed "engineering physics" (higher-level, calculus-based course) so AP didn't help there.

    However, most students graduated having taken much less rigorous courses. (And then I had the "pleasure" of teaching physics and chemistry lab to these dummies in college [xx(])

    So I guess I agree and disagree with you. The average quality of public schools is s***, but if you apply yourself and take the right courses (which, sadly, few students do) you can get a decent college-prep education.

    She entered this pageant knowing that it was on tv, and knowing that she would have to answer a question. Being 17, she also knows all about youtube.
    Had she won the pageant, she would, I bet, have won many thousands of dollars.
    She took her chances, and she made a fool of herself.
    Yes I am going to laugh at her, she richly deserves it.
