Took the kids fishing. (pics)
Sure doesn't look like much but I had heard the Salmon were running so I took the kids for their first snagging adventure.
Elk Jr. loves trains so we had to go on a walk to see this old train trestle that has been converted for pedestrian traffic.
Not bad for about and hour of snagging. Kids caught most of them.

My brother and his wife are coming for turkey day. and I am taking them to Blue Mesa. Where I hear that the Browns are really hitting hard and ussually do through most of november.0 -

It took over two hours to fillet them all. Then we froze them 4 fillets to a bag covered in water. Plus we had a fish fry for 6 people that night.[:)] 0 -

This was on the Unc. near Ridgeway. Don't know if the salmon will still be running in late Nov. or not. I want to try snagging down in Pine Creek also. I hear rumors of BIG salmon there. I'll ask around for good spots to go after the Browns but I bet Pine Creek (lower end) would be great. Might also try the Lake Fork near Red Bridge.0 -
