Funny man.. thought he was much older though!!!
RIP0 -
I would have also guessed that he would have been older than 76. I remember reading somewhere that while CNR was an accomplished stage actor he was actually afraid of large audiences, the result of having escaped from a circus fire in his youth. He was a funny man. May he RIP. 0 -
He was indeed a funny man. I too thought he was older...and already passed!! See how much I know? 0 -
I'm one of the older guy's here, never have heard of him, Work took up a lot of my time. 0 -

Obviously you don't understand the true nature of Hell... I'll not wish that on a man simply because he is gay!!!0 -
About all I remember him from is Match game. I would have thought he was at least 10 years older. 0 -

Oh I understand it well enough to know that sometimes we say crap without thinking...that sometimes we are in fact wrong..
Do Not Judge, Lest You Be Judged!
I understand that one pretty well..
and if I'm going to risk the backlash I'll reserve it for the Saddams of the world and not on some funny little gay guy!!!
after all the punishment for disobeying that one could be quite painful!!!0 -

I did a little looking into CNR and found out that the circus fire he escaped from was in fact the infamous Hartford Circus Fire, which took the lives of perhaps 100 people. Anywhere but here on Gun Broker one would have to wonder why God spared CNR from an agonizing early death while so many others died in that tragic fire? Was he spared in order that he go to hell for all enternity after living a full and sucessful life, bringing laughter and entertainment to millions of people, most of whom could not have cared less about his being gay? Just like you, I think not.0 -
RIP,.......I thought he was funny also, but I was very young when he was on.
Another I really thought was funny, was Paul Lynde, that played Uncle Arthur on Bewitched.
They were both gay,..........that is between them and God.
Since I am not God, I won't mention anything about that.0 -

Anyone remeber the show HR puff and stuff? Wasnt he in that show. 0 -

i used to love that show.0 -
I remember his laugh. He was funny. I also remember seeing him on Hollywood Squares...but not knowing WHO he was. I kind of wish TV were more like back then....you worked, or played and certain times were just set aside for a show you would watch. I now record hours and hours of complete crap and complain that there is NOTHING to watch at whatever time I feel like scrolling throught the menus. I will remember him....if not for who he actually was....but for a better time I fondly remember. 0 -

Thats how i remember him. All the game shows back then had 'celebrity' panels of people ive never heard of.0 -
Locust,......do like I do!
I have all of the seasons of the old sitcoms on DVD, and when I can't find something to watch on the History Channel, or the Military Channel,.......things of that sort that I like,.......I go to the old DVD's, of All in the Family, Bewitched, Bob Newhart, Mary Tyler Moore, I Dream of Jeannie,.......and yes Married with Children.
I can watch that stuff over, and over, and never tire of it.
500 channels, and nothing worth watching.0 -

If the feller was...that'd be even more funny...

Marc...its funny isn't it. I really notice it around certain times....like Christmas. The year without a Santa Claus or Rudolph the Red Nose Reigndeer comes on and I'm so happy.....(who knows WHY because I can watch it any time I want on DVD.) Its just some "trigger" that is switched on when things come on.
Bewitched would be one I want on DVD....that was some funny stuff!0 -

CNR played in the live action Saturday morning serial called "Lidsville". He never played on HR Puffnstuff that I can recall.
And I have to go with Marc on this one...I am not God...it is not my place to judge a man for his sexual choices.
RIP0 -
he is listed as a 'guest appearance' on puff n stuff 0 -
