It's had 33 for a long time 1 more added recent to make 34. It really doesn't seem to be doing much of anything.
It's is always a good idea to write/call/email your reps. We need to stay on top of this to make sure it doesn't get any more co-sponsers. The low amount of co-sponsors it has now is because of gun owners like you and me doing our part.

It's warms the heart to know that S1001 had more sponsors(41) in a few days than HR1022 does in a few months.

    SENATE VERSION OF
    D.C. PERSONAL PROTECTION ACT INTRODUCED!

    S. 1001, the Senate version of the "District of Columbia Personal Protection Act," with 41 original cosponsors! Like its House counterpart --H.R. 1399, introduced on March 8, by U.S. Representatives Mike Ross (D-Ark.) and Mark Souder (R-Ind.)-- the Senate legislation seeks to restore the constitutionally-guaranteed Second Amendment rights of the residents of the District of Columbia by repealing the District's onerous gun ban.

Although it hasn't hit the senate side of the fence yet, one of my Senators has already said "No" and our anti-gun Senator, well let's say I'm still waiting on word from him. It'll be interesting, as he has told me before that he is all for common sense gun laws. I told him there is no such thing.

My congressman is pro second. (Good man)!
