How long did you wait for your NFA Tax stamp?

I was told it would take appx. 90 days.
One of mine just came back today, in just 23 days.
Man am I exited!
what sort of time length have some of you had to wait?
Short, long, average?

    Yours is the CURRENT average. About 4 weeks is the norm since the ATF move out of DC last year. I waited about 6 months on mine right before the move and I have heard many stories about it taking over 12 mo.

    23 DAYS? Holy cow! My first one took about 18 months. The local cop idiots lost the paperwork, then the feds lost the paperwork, started all over.....local idiots lost it AGAIN. I was about ready to kill someone. Then, they didn't want to give me the print cards for FREE, after I'd paid for them ONCE! Three times I had to get them! My second NFA only took about 3.5 months! [:)]

    GOod thing you didn't have your NFA firearm yet that first time. Those things make people do bad things, which is why it's a good idea to regulate them.

    I was just expecting to wait like four months and then have them tell me I had to re do it or something. Iv herd a few stories about it taking so long.
    I still am waiting on one other stamp that I sent out the same day. It went to a diffrent address, wonder how long that one will take.
    Im just stoked now I can at least go play with one new toy.[8D]

    Form 4 22 days in June
    First Form 4 back in 1972 took almost 9 months.

    If this is your first expect around 45-60days.
    Dont call them before 45 days, give them a lil time to process.

    Back in Klintler days it was not uncommon to have NFA transfers take 18-28 MONTHS.

    Now I have customers who whine when it'll take 1-2 mos on a Trust or Corp.
