What are everyone's thoughts on the paranormal? Bigfoot, is Elvis still alive, UFOs, ghosts, that sort of thing. Feel free to share any stories/firsthand experiences.

    Watched a few episodes of "Is It Real" on the National Geographic channel last night. Nothing earth shaking, but I'm always surprised by the new evidence, both "pro" and "con" that each program I see manages to bring up.

    what are everyone's thoughts on never-proven, but still reportedly seen things like Bigfoot, Chupacabra, cattle mutilations, and patriotic Democrats?[}:)]

    ok I'll bite. Back in the day, 1975or so a girlfriend and I were parking on a dirt road several miles from town(remember parking?).She suddenly got pretty antsy and wanted to go.We left the pullout we were in and drove several hundred yards up the road so we could turn around. Something big crossed the road in front of us but it happened so fast could not get a good look at it. When I reached the point where I figured it had crossed the road I turned the car so the headlights would shine at an angle over some of the cornfield. Something big was moving through the corn 40-50 yards away but being dark and the headlights were not the best on my old car we could not tell what it was. This was September so the corn was full grown, wat taller than my 6'. We looked at each other and got the hell outa there. We never found out what it was and never saw it again and I never got her to park on that road again.

    You should have went back in the moring to get a good footprint casting. Anything that big would leave a good print in a plawed farm field.

    Yep - we lived in a haunted house a house back - never saw anything but
    our two dogs used to. We only heard things ... . The UFO that we saw was
    our first and last - I know about only what I saw, in that instance, and you've
    heard it, circa 1963.[:D]

    I strongly believe that crop circles, cattle mutilations and UFO's are all tied together. I did a lot of online research of other's legitimate research and that's what I came up with.

    some UFO stuff is faked, some crop circles are faked, but out of the tens of thousands of cattle mutilations over the last 40 years, not once has anyone ever been caught faking one. and there have been a few isolated incients of human mutilations that were done the same way as a cattle mutilation, which surely wouldn't be a practical joke.

    Never seen Bigfoot. Folks that say they have are sure adamit about it. I guess something that big could live out there undetected.

    I believe in the paranormal, which is funny given that I have yet to have any sort of firsthand experience. Never seen a ghost or anything like that... and frankly, I would be just fine if I never do.

    I find ghost an interesting subject, and was considering joining a local ghost hunter group to do more research. Love them ghost stories that have film or sound for proof.
