This looks like a good deal considering there are non-firing replica's here on GB that are the same opening bid. Is it too good to be true? Notice the seller is a first timer and it's his only item for sale.

I was wondering about that too, I don't think they called themselves "Germany" back in WWI, so i figured it might be from the importer or something. I'm still looking for the video, will post link if I find it.

I know the markings are old but the first f in waffen looks like a t
& the o in orberndorf looks like a c with no room for the rest of the o. The serial number on mine is on the side of the reciever just below where this one has it.0 -
