    I am certainly no expert on those, but the condition is not really high. It appears to be real, but I know there were a bunch of Norinco versions around.

    I've owned and own a number of C96s - and I've never seen 'Germany' stamped on one before. Interesting.

    I was wondering about that too, I don't think they called themselves "Germany" back in WWI, so i figured it might be from the importer or something. I'm still looking for the video, will post link if I find it.

    I know the markings are old but the first f in waffen looks like a t
    & the o in orberndorf looks like a c with no room for the rest of the o. The serial number on mine is on the side of the reciever just below where this one has it.
