Guitar players-Help

Seems i'm stuck in a rut. Haven't learned anything new in a while and don't have time to get together and jam with folks who could show me a few licks.

Anybody here help me out? A new chord progression or lead licks? Old stuff or new,don't much matter. Help a brother in need...

BTW,I mostly play old blues,rock and finger-pickin' stuff.

  If you want some new material for practice go to YOUTUBE and type in the search Guitar lesson.
  
  They have several great 5 minute guitar lessons from master guitar players. All on video and all for free.

  work on improvising for a while. that's always a good skill. might be kind of boring at first when it's hard to come up with something original, but when you get the hang of it and you can just reel off stuff out of nowhere, you can really geek on it. I've seen ppl who were good at it spend more time doing that than learning how to play other ppl's stuff. just jam! can you dig it man??

  Try some Black Crowes. Rich Robinson likes non-concert tunings on songs like "She Talks To Angels", but onec you get the tuning right, it's pretty cool. So I've heard.

  Use different voicings of common chords and play songs you know with the different chords. For instance (a very simple example), if a song you know contains the chords C, F, G, & D; try playing it with C6, F6, G6, & D6. Or the 5th of these same chords.

  Put on old Beatles and learn to pick all the bass lines.
  They do some interesting modulations and stuff.
  It will teach you plenty about music theory, and while you are playing the bass lines,
  you'll think of something new to play.

  First, have a funeral for you past guitar playing. Take a photo of your guitar and then burn it. Put the ashes in a small box and play Bach's St. Matthew's passion on the stereo. Take an LP of your faviorite guitar player out and smash it againt the wall while yelling "you suck you old fart, go to He!!"
  
  Next play a top 40 station that doesn't play your kind of music and try to pick out all the songs by ear. Take a couple of days and learn the style.
  
  Crawl around on all fours and act like a baby. Pick up your guitar and pretend you don't know how to play then play something you don't know how to.
  
  Get a CD of Balianese theater music and dance to it.
  
  Tune your guitar to D,G,D,G,Bb,D and play some avante guarde classical jazz on it.
