I feel dumb.

I had a copy of Nero 7 (cd burning software) and a cd/dvd burner in my computer. It worked fair but as of late I couldn't burn anything to a disc. I figured my shady copy of Nero was to blame. I purchased another shady copy of Nero 8 off ebay and installed it. Still no burn. I uninstalled the drive, reinstalled it and updated all drivers. Still no go.

Finally I searched the drive on yahoo for reviews, come to find out the drive is notoriously bad.

Now I just ordered a cheap Sony Dvd burning drive to replace it. But I feel dumb just the same.

  I just use windows media player. Its free.
