Stupid Illinois Sec of State

I was listening to WLS 890AM on the way home from work. They had the Illinios Sec. of State on the show. It was pretty much a puff interview. This moron, Jesse White, (Chicago Democrat) not only thinks there needs to broader laws governing the use of cell phones while driving, but he also believes Illinois needs a law prohibiting text messaging while walking! Someone could be distracted and walk into a busy intersection.

WHAT A FREAKING STUPID AS MORON!!

This is dumber than Daley's suggestion to tax the sale of bottled water!

Illinois Nazis. I hate Illinois Nazis.

    I'm pretty sure with all the technology we have there's got to be a way to program cell phones to drop all calls if the cell is going faster than 25 MPH.

    I noted the comments about text messaging and recalled some news headlines on auto deaths when the drivers were suspected to Texting at the time of the collisions.

    Just pull a Google search on " driver death while text messaging " . You have to admit people aren't going to curb the dangerous behavior and at some point the legislators are going to have to step in. Due to the numb-skulls.

    I wonder if newer accident reports have a column for the officer to check if "cell phones were in use at time of accident" ?
