Ambassadeur reel help

I have a green abu ambassadeur 5500 0 reel, it is not a 5500c but a o or zero. The number on the bottom is 770900. Its in great shape. Is this a common reel or a scarce one? Does any know what they ballpark for dollar wise? Thankyou Beltfed

  Considering the 5500 series reels are still made. I would highly doubt it would have any collector value beyond what 5500 have. What color is the reel?

  If you happens to have a black one...
  Then we talking serious bucks.But i have a red one from the 60's.
  and its a nice piece of quality reel.
  I have this thing against plastic stuff i suppose [:)]
  Hmm maybe you could check out the numbers at ABU Garcia maybe ?

  Brown and old blacks are considered collectible to some extent. There value seems to be that of a new one or a little more. The green ones are not any more collectible then red and silver ones. If its in good shape it would fetch 50 bucks or so .
