Hey, I did my good deed for the day. Drove a skydive jumper back to the drop zone.

Poor SOB got lost and wandered around in the corn field for 2.5 hours before showing up on my deck. He was from Belgium and didn't know how to get out of a corn field. He was tacking back and forth looking for a way out. He was worn out and dehydrated. I think he thought he was going to die out there.

    Did you see the model 50 on the auction. Looked like new, but had one of those things on the end of the barrel. Did Winchester put some adjustable chokes on new shotguns? It is in the first part of the list.(Showcase?)12 ga. with vent barrel and in good shape.

    Didn't want to hijack your other thread.


    Your description of the old shotgun says it is a blowback design which predates the A5. The A5 was/is recoil. Usually blowback refers to a gas system.

    Is the old gun in the auction gas blowback or recoil operated?

    I almost lost my Dad during bypass surgery last Nov.
    He pulled through and now is in good health.

    Being that he is 79 years old, I know that his time here with me is short. I'll remember your words when that time comes.

    Just wanted to say thanks for all the info you posted over at MC on high standard pistols.
    I was able to reference your material and came up with a magazine for my Military pistol. I saw where you mentioned the red floor extension was used for the Military pistol.
    Any other info you have on the Military magazine would be appreciated.

    The kit came in, it is everything I was hoping for (USGI M14). I should be at par with it now, should go up in the near future. Can't find my USB camera cable or I would post some Blckhrn Mystery pics.
