Ebay idiots
ebay just removed an auction of mine that was a pistol rack.
It was removed because it had pics of handguns in the rack.
NEVER AGAIN will I sell on ebay.
I shut everything down. I now will exclusively sell my firearms accessories here on GB.
I had over 500 sales there.

Wow, I sold over $800.00 worth of scrap gold bearing computer boards last month on E-bay. Those same boards sold locally around here would have earned me about $30.00. Winchester 45-70, here I come.
Do you know that you can buy just about any type of saddle, bridle, whatever for your horse on E-bay? But you can't buy a horse there. So are they anti-horse too? And you can't buy puppies there, frickin' dog haters. And let's not leave out that cats are a no-no too.
Face it there are many things you can't sell on E-bay. If you want to sell gun stuff, this is the place. If you can't get enough for your stuff here, then comply with E-bay's rules and sell over there. Why don't you make some wood cut-out shapes of guns and place them in the rack for your photo?
While you guys are whining about this and that on e-bay, I'm selling junk just as fast as I can list it. I think I'm gonna need another safe.

Your auction was removed because you broke their rules. Their prohibited items list is fairly long. It specifically says that photos of guns are prohibited. Let's say, for example, that your listing got past their filtering, monitoring process. You would be almost guaranteed to receive inquiries about selling the handguns pictured in the rack. It would have been pretty easy to just relist the item without the offending to ebay photos and you might now have 501 sales instead of starting all over at zero. You could have tried listing identical items on both sites just to see where you could get the best prices. Hopefully, you have made a good business decision. I have not sold anything on E-bay for a long time as I have other outlets that cost nothing to do business through.
On the other hand if there is something I need and cant find it locally good old Ebay usually has someone selling what I need.
I recently went to around 30 stores locally to find a dado blade that would fit my table saw, none to be had, got frustrated and went to Ebay, sure enough found exactly what I needed and at half the advertised price at any local store.
If you are going to sell a holster at Ebay follow the rules and leave the gun out of it..Simple..0 -

...Flea-bay is an anti-gun bunch of morons...though I do buy and sell there. I sent off payments today for a 1911 GI thumb safety, 2 SS GI plugs, and a thumb safety removal tool (very cool tool!)
You can buy barrels, triggers and every imaginable gun part there...but dont even think about posting a pic of an evil gun (not EVEN to sell, OR for display purpose only!); makes no sense to me...[xx(]

Really, their rules are so loosely written that, if you sold a truck on ebay motors that had a gun rack and you described it as "perfect for your truck rifle, SKS or FAL." They could call your truck an assault rifle accessory.0
