At the time, their music was considered, among musicians, tops in arranging, layering, voicing.

Part of that great era of city named bands Boston, Kansas, Styx etc had a way of making great rock with a nice guy twist.

One of the last concerts I went to was Boston and they were so good.
Not sure how he died but he lived well.

    More than a sad feeling![:(]

I couldn't care less when a pop-princess kicks it, but when a guy like Brad Delp goes, it's a tragedy to music. Boston was always some kickass hard rock. He wasn't a cookie-cutter vocalist, either. Very distinctive voice.

I think the last real loss we had before this was when Dimebag Darrell got shot. A Metal God, still in his prime, slain by an unbeliever's hand...I was despondent for days.

Some people calls 'em a Kaiser blade, I calls 'em a sling blade.

I hate to see a legend die, especially when he is only a year older than I am.
