Wow the floods were intense
I am in NW Ohio tonight (Findlay) I drove from my home through Columbus and out NW on 33. It rained at home pretty hard last night and was raining in Columbus. As soon as I hit I-75 a St. route 30 it was nuts. The entire area for many miles was flooded by the intense rains overnight. It is one thing to see flooded homes on TV. It is quite another to see the shocked victims standing lost and shocked in the street as water pours through their kitchen window.
It took me over 6 hours to drive somewhere in the neighborhood of 60 miles due to the thousands of trucks and cars backed up trying to get around the flooded areas on I-75.
Sad to see those folks lose so much so fast.

Stay safe and alert buddy! Don't cross any moving water. It only takes a few inches depending on the speed to wash you off the road!

Watched WBNS Columbus news tonight and I could not believe the flooding just north of here. Something like 9" of rain over night. 0 -

I saw whole areas of corn underwater to the tassles. The crops will be ruined by the mud in the corn. Mother nature can be very nasty.
The fact I-75 was closed at Bluffton OH, mile 141 was really a big problem for thousands of people. If you remember; Bluffton was the place that lost the Ball team in the bus crash. The town of Bluffton has suffered severe flooding from a little dink creek that is flooding miles of roads and large parts of the town.0 -
