    Your guess is as good as mine on that one bobski, My grand dad was a wood worker for 85 years and we still have tons of fixtures that he made/or had made. I know how you feel. You come across something and it leaves you scratching your head going ohhhhhhh- thats what it is![:D]

    Anyway, does the 6 bolt pattern fit anything (what appears)? Saw, planer, etc? IE unbolt 2 plates and that guy drops in.?

    Mind you I am just guessing and have zero clue- I have seen some odd fixtures in my life, so I am only taking a half-ass educated guess!

    That's another fixture of some type. Used for machining or wood work.

    ill have to try matching it up to one of the machines in conn next trip. at least i have an idea what to look for. thanks!
    btw...this one goes down as another STUMP THE CHUMP until we figure it out officially![:(]
    thats comes to about 5 out of 140 unknown for the gb gang![:I]

    The problem with things made for a special purpose is that the purpose is so special that there isn't enough market to justify mass production. It looks like it would be a good adjustable stop guage for a miter/radial arm/table saw.
