How to Rechamber?

I have a Savage Model 110 in 300 Win Mag. I plan on putting a bull barrel on it as well as a different stock. I'd like to have it rechambered for .308.

What all would I have to change, magazine, bolt face? If it's a lot of trouble I won't do it. It's a family gun so I don't want to sell it for a new .308.

  For the price of a new Savage 308, hang on to your current rifle and buy a second gun. It'll most definitely be cheaper then rebarreling.

  agree, its going to cost at least 150 bucks for a new barrel and having chambered, you should be able to find a savage in .308 for under 300.
