#3 is one of my surprizes that I have done before. I will let you know what this one is. A knife/chisel hone. Leather with an oak base, sanded (up to 600 grit), stained, then polished with paste wax. I have used the first one I made for 29 years. Even used it to polish flat gun parts. The leather is about 1 inch wide and is NOS belt drive leather, that came in a large roll.
I made a few of these, took them to the gun show, had a lot of comments, but no buyers. I thought the price was fair. Maybe folks don't sharpen their own knives like we used to. I don't know. I may try to list some of them on auction later.
Anyway, post you wants. I'll spring for the postage.
