Brand name doesn't matter, they all work. You need to be interested in the audio cut off point, not the name. They should shut off at a level of no higher than 85db or so to protect your hearing. Then there are mono ones, and stereo ones. The stereo ones allow you to still get a sense of direction on what you do hear. mono gives you the same sound in each ear..Other than those two things, it's a matter of how pretty they are like everything else. 0 -
i have went though 2 pairs of radians, i have had the same pair of peltors for almost 2 years 0 -
What's the weak point in radians ? 0 -
as far as i can figure the electronics inside are a bit unprotected from sweat, i was at a big match once on a hot day, i was loaded and ready, i got a good jolt of electricity in the ear followed by a loud screeching, i suppose a pair of "sweat protectors"{like little covers for each of them} would prevent this, the second pair just started to have delay problems they would not turn themselves back on very fast after a shot
i also have a pair of the cheapies from Caldwell's, they work fine outdoors, but indoors are a bit ruff0 -
Here, I bought a set of these and they work fine at the range. Where else can you get a set of electronic hearing protectors for $20.

i have Peltor T6 have had them for 4 months shoot some 3000+ rounds with them on. they have been good for me. no problem other than me being a dummy and leaving them on for a week staight and killing the batt's. Got mine on sale at midway. they also have the caldwell's one 20 25 bucks i think 0 -
buy them from Locust Fork. hers are wonderful 0 -
I want a pair too!
Both of the folks I know who have them like the Peltor brand.0 -
I have a set of Peltors and a set of the "Digital Quads" form Walker.
I can't tell any difference in performance, but there was a huge difference in price.0 -
I bought a $100 pair last year. I forget the brand though. Will have to look tonight. 0 -
Well if locust forks gives me a good price and ships them over here...
But maybe i should just get a whole box filled with that really cheap ones.(if they ship them to me)
Then i can hand them out like gifts to relatives and friends.
Over here those devices is really expensive....So if i dont tell how cheap i got them....At least around christmas i can expect to get much nicer gifts in return than i usually get...[:D][8D][:I][:p][;)]0 -

I have a set of Dillon electronic muffs. They work great. I have had them for 5 years and other than batteries (2 AAA per side) and 1 ear pad change I have not had to do anything to them. I also have a pair of Remingtons (not sure who really makes them) that are great for shotgunning but take a bizzare battery that is exspensive to replace. I have heard pretty good reviews of the Caldwell electronics from Midway USA and they only run about $35.00. I have not tried them myself. 0 -
