Anyone purchased gun from Cabelas(out of state)?
I live in Delaware and would like to purchase a gun from Cabelas in PA. Do they have a list of FFL's they will send to or do you have to take that info in there? I have about a $400 credit there, that's why I'm asking.

The best thing to do would be to call them and ask them what their policy is. I believe (don't quote me) that if the laws in the states for purchase are the same that they can sell you a long gun over the counter, but I would still call and ask. 0 -
...Never bought a gun FROM CB's but...the guy I won my Delta from here on GB used them to ship me the DE, he was in in MD if I remember correctly; out of state anyway.
...I sent him Nunn's 01 and he took David's 01 and the DE to CB's and had them ship it to Nunn in Wolfe City, Texas, no problem with that...if that helps you any...[;)]

Cabelas can send a gun to any FFL holder in any state so long as YOUR state allows YOU to legally purchase/own that PARTICULAR gun in YOUR Particular State.
I think Gun Brokers has an FFL locators page where you can find one near your home. He may be allowed (by Cabelas) to fax his License as this media (fax) form is Legal correspondence according to Federal Gun Controll Act regulations.
Cabelas will then ship it to the FFL address of your choice and you go visit him and do the paper work, pay him his fee and then you go home with your prize.0 -
Lordy lordy...As jdphill says..Find yourself an FFL holder in your vacinity who's willing to receive it for you, order it from Cabelas, give them the FFL's address to send it to. 0 -
thanks guys. I already have a FFL here that will accept it, just did not know if anyone had experience with Cabelas doing transfers. I'll try to get through to them to see if I need a copy of the FFL or if they will accept a faxed copy. 0
