Buying
Going to buy a shotgun for Turkey and other assorted birds. Have decided on a Mossburg 935 Semi-Auto 12ga 31/2. I am not sure what length of barrel I should go with. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. First time shotgunner.

Buying a 2003 Bonneville. Anyone own one and what has your luck been with it? Anything I need to check out first? 0 -
If you are only going to use for turkey, go with a 24" barrel. If you are mainly going to use it for upland or waterfowl, then go with a 28". If you plan on doing a good deal of both, go with a 26" barrel as a compromise.
A 28" barrel is fine for turkey as well, it just doesn't lend itself to sneaking around the woods very well.0 -
Would stick with 3" personally, unless you are dead set. Your should will thank you. There are plenty of 3" shells out there fully capable of taking turkey. I would also say 24-26" 0
