Entry level AR's and M4's

I'm thinking real serious about getting an Evil gun. What do you folks think would be a good entry level one? Price is an issue.
I like the colapsable stocks, and the flat topped receivers. Can't think of a reason that I would need the carry handle. I've been looking, and price seems to be about $800.00 up to whatever you want to pay (i.e. with all the goodies added on).

    I just got my dad a RRA entry for $899. its badass. has all the evil, super accurate and macth trigger
    rguns.net sells complete loers from dpms w/ collasapble from $240, do that and buy a used upper at gun shoe or on here

    I have to say Bushmaster would be my number one choice. We are issued the Carbine and Ive seen thousands of rounds go down range over the last 5 yrs with only a few problems. And they were mostly failure's to extract on rare occasions. I have one of my own and its only given me trouble on ce when the gas rings managed to get lined up and the carrier key was loose. I figure it came that way from the factory, I tightened it up and have had no more problems since. Good Luck!!

    I bought a Rock River Entry Tactical with collapsible stock and removeable carry handle for $859. Love it.

    I'll be getting a Rock River as soon as taxes come back. Also getting an AK before the Dems take complete control too!!!
